达到GMAT630分并不难，且一个月出分！此回答将带着做一篇阅读和逻辑分析，100%还原备考方法论，特别是新版在GMAT Focus Edition更加突出了阅读能力的背景下。在我和题主英语水平差不多，这些思路具有一定参考价值。(首考GMAT630，雅思6.5，备考3周610分）

考试内容-GMAT Focus Edition-GMAT考试官方中文网站注意要点
1. Verbal部分不要再抠语法细节，但是更加注重快速阅读，通过抓主干快速获取获取主旨、佐证思想、推理、应用、逻辑结构和风格等信息。
2. 数学部分分数占比更高了，需要投入更多精力！而且数学的ROI极高。如我上面的发首战成绩，如果数学能能从49变50，可能就有620，甚至630。（虽然不是本文重点，但也简略分析一下）
2.1 第一周扫一遍OG，了解考点和对不认识的数学词汇查漏补缺
2.2 针对性刷题，这部分要限时练习。应用题要耐心阅读，因为题干较长
2.3 第三轴 OG Advanced，限时做
2.4 考前机经临门一脚。机经不能死记，必须做一次，把思路解出来
3. IR部分要引起足够总是，之前这部分不算入总分，现在涵盖在总分内了。如果之前不够总是这部分，没怎么练习，也不知道短时间内该怎么训练这个模块。可以免费领取趴趴的gmat备考资源，帮助自己快速提升IR的能力。可以和趴趴老师沟通一下，帮你快速制定备考策略。

阅读例题
The fields of antebellum (pre-Civil War) political history and women's history use separate sources and focuson separate issues. Political historians, examining sources such as voting records, newspapers, and politicians' writings, focus on the emergence in the 1840's of a new "American political nation," and since women were neither voters nor politicians, they receive little discussion. Women's historians, meanwhile, have shown little interest in the subject of party politics, instead drawing on personal papers, legal records such as wills, and records of female associations to illuminate women's domestic lives, their moral reform activities, and the emergence of the woman's rights movement.
However, most historians have underestimated the extent and significance of women's political allegiance in the antebellum period. For example, in the presidential election campaigns of the 1840's, the Virginia Whig party strove to win the allegiance of Virginia's women by inviting them to rallies and speeches. According to Whig propaganda, women who turned out at the party's rallies gathered information that enabled them to mold party-loyal families, reminded men of moral values that transcended party loyalty, and conferred moral standing on the party. Virginia Democrats, in response, began to make similar appeals to women as well. By the mid-1850's the inclusion of women in the rituals of party politics had become common- place, and the ideology that justified such inclusion had been assimilated by the Democrats.
第一遍90s我看到的内容如下：
● 第一段：历史学家关注…，女性历史学家对…没什么兴趣
● 第二段：However，大部分历史学家低估了…，For example…，Women reminded men, and conferred..., the inclusion had become… and ideology had been assimilated..., 这里就可以看出作者是不同意以前的做法的。
第一次阅读我并没有太关注细节而是总的放面。
● 有没有观点/阐述了什么现象：这里就是Political historians怎么样。Women's historians怎么样。most historians 怎么样
● 两段之间什么关系：However - 转折
● 关注句与句的关系而忽略具体内容，例如For example后面的东西暂时没看，只要知道是为前面underestimated the extent and significance举例说明
通过90秒阅读可以定位这一题是在第二段第一句部分，
The author of the passage would be most likely to agree with which of the following statements regarding most historians of the antebellum period?

由第二段第一句可以大部分历史学家忽略的是 the extent and significance of women's allegience，而不是对比女性在Democratic and Whig parties不同角色

由第二段第一句可以大部分历史学家忽略的是 the extent and significance of women's allegience，而不是曲解女性参与政党

由第二段第一句可以大部分历史学家忽略的是 the extent and significance of women's allegience，而不是女性在女权运动中扮演的角色
从这题的分析可以看出，90秒内通过抓住作者态度即可回答。However出来表明了与第一段是相反的，预示着后面要出来作者态度。这里就要平时训练抓住段与段的关系：都是正向态度，还是相反态度。
第二题
The primary purpose of the passage as a whole is to

没有考察政党对女性的策略

文段并没有说女权运动
C point out a deficiency in the study of a particular historical period
point out a deficiency不就是说underestimated…嘛

并没有淘箩反对政党的意识形态
E contrast the methodologies in two differing fields of historical inquiry ×
更多是第一段历史学家和女性历史学家的研究方法，但并不是文章目的。如果这是文章目的，那么第二段就没有了，多余了。
第二题还是根据90秒的阅读内容就可以选出来了。这里还要知道句与句的关系。第二段第一句是全文作者观点，那作者怎么论证他的观点呢？后面的For example不就来了嘛，后面举例不就是支持观点嘛。平时训练要多思考句与句的关系。
第三题
According to the second paragraph of the passage, Whig propaganda included the assertion that
A women should enjoy more political rights than they did ×
由第二段第一句可以得知举例是为了解释第一句 underestimated the extent and significance，而不是应该享有更多政治权利
B women were the most important influences on political attitudes within a family ×
这里主要是女性对moral value影响而不是家庭政治态度
C women's reform activities reminded men of important moral values ×
变换了主体，reminded的发出者是women而不是reform activities
D women's demonstrations at rallies would influence men's voting behavior ×
影响的内容错误，并没有提到投票行为
E women's presence at rallies would enhance the moral standing of the party
这一题就要再看一次文段了，从90秒可以定位是第二段内容。然后可以通过划为主干：主，谓，宾来了解什么对什么发出了什么动作。这里就需要平时练习划分句子成分了，从而可以快速抓主干。
第四题
According to the passage, which of the following was true of Virginia Democrats in the mid-1850`s?
A They feared that their party was losing its strong moral foundation. ×
最后一句并没有说moral foundation
B They believed that the Whigs` inclusion of women in party politics had led to the Whigs` success in many elections. ×
并没有谈论到吸收女性到政党有助于选得选举
C They created an ideology that justified the inclusion of women in party politics. ×
这种意识形态是被它们吸收而不是由它们创造
D They wanted to demonstrate that they were in support of the woman`s rights movement. ×
文章并不谈论女权运动
E They imitated the Whigs` efforts to include women in the rituals of party politics.
由第二次阅读可以定位到最后一句，通过the inclusion had become… and ideology had been assimilated..., 句子成分划分可以知道女权，选举，moral foundation都与文章无关。而ideology不是被它们创造而是assimilated。

● 逻辑链：艺术培养创造力 => 创造力促进科技进步 => 大学应该增加艺术课

并没有说过去方案实施后是否促进了科技进步，如果否则削弱了universities should increase...

有可能是艺术促进科学，但也有可能是自己在艺术方面没有任何成就、什么都学不到，然后才换专业的。并不能说明艺术能促进科学的进步。

因果关系颠倒了，科学能促进艺术 ≠ 艺术能促进科学。
总价一下逻辑推理的基本功：1划分句子成分，让你抓住段落意思。2写逻辑链。就像本题一样，写出了逻辑链就容易看出了哪个选项加强了逻辑。
